Golf Made Simple Golf Schools is bringing it's International reputation to the award winning Southern Hills Plantation course in North Tampa, Florida, USA. PR9.NET February 13, 2007 - Brooksville, Florida, USA - Golf Made Simple has announced a deal to expand their Internationally recognized golf school to Southern Hills Plantation in Brooksville, Florida. GMS was founded by highly acclaimed PGA Professional, Marc Solomon, with locations in San Diego, CA, St. Augustine and Amelia Island, FL, and now the Tampa area. Honorary President of The PGA of America, M.G. Orender, commented on the deal, "I'm able to meet the best of the best in the golf business. And as a golf course owner, I want only the best at my golf courses. So saying that, it shouldn't be a surprise that we have partnered with Golf Made Simple to be located at 3 of our golf courses including our brand new Pete Dye Signature golf course." Travis Norman, the Executive Vice President of Hampton Golf Clubs (parent company of Southern Hills Plantation), says, "From a consumer standpoint, not only is Golf Made Simple a successful business partner, but they're also my personal golf coach. Their user-friendly philosophy is what's so appealing to me. I've been around a lot of golf philosophies and Golf Made Simple's is truly very simple, even for the low handicap golfer. I go to GMS three to four times a year to keep my handicap in the single digits. Marc's enthusiasm and belief in the system is very refreshing. A lot of times Instructors are just going through the motions… it's different with Golf Made Simple." Golf Made Simple is excited about their partnership with Southern Hills Plantation, one of the best new courses in the United States with a hilly terrain that is unusual for Florida. The course boasts a diverse landscape with elevations of 60 to nearly 250 feet. The only Pete Dye designed course in the Tampa area, the course tests every aspect of a Golfer's game. Known for attracting Golfers from around the world, Golf Made Simple is excited to increase Southern Hills's international recognition among Golfers. "We love the exposure that Golf Made Simple will give us. We already have a few international members and are hopeful that Golf Made Simple will welcome in more global residents," says Randy Houseman, General Manager of Southern Hills.
