Paul Keysar returns to DC area to teach Landscape painting Workshop. Students will gain confidence in applying principles learned to their own work and grow as artists.
PR9.NET May 24, 2008 - Washington, DC - Artist and Instructor Paul Keysar will teach a two-day plein air painting workshop June 7-8, 2008, at Belle Haven Park in Alexandria, Virginia. The workshop, Understanding the Principles of the Landscape, will deal with the problems artists face during the beginning, middle, and end stages of a painting. Through demo, discussion, and critiques, Paul will help participants develop a higher understanding of and gain a greater confidence in painting the landscape. The workshop will cover topics such as, how to work with your materials, the use of drawing as a foundation in painting, color choices, the importance of a good composition, and more.
This workshop is suitable for students of all skill levels. Paul will start each day with a short lecture and discussion time, followed by a demonstration. The remainder of each day will be spent painting the landscape with each student receiving individual guidance as needed.
