eProfessional Association is providing Technology Grants to improve staff efficiency and reduce administrative and operational costs of k-12 schools.

PR9.NET March 29, 2008 - Winona, Minnesota - eProfessional Association today announced its Expanded Technology Grants Program for K-12 Schools. The Grants will help K-12 schools acquire and use web-based applications to reduce their administrative costs, employ reduced-cost remote services available over the Internet, and other services that use the Internet. Coverage of the Grants is required to either directly or indirectly demonstrate the ability to reduce administrative costs for operating K-12 schools.

Over the last 5 years, eProfessional Association has provided Grants to over 400 K-12 schools.

"The Grants will help to reduce the costs for technology which then reduces operational expenses within the K-12 school." said Mark Kevitt, President of eProfessional Association. "By enhancing data information–sharing capacity and improving vital aspects of operations within the school or district or conference, we are making positive impact on the ability for schools to retain more of their budgets for the real business of the school, "education".

Currently, the web-based applications that fulfill these Technology Grants are provided by rSchoolToday. The products and services range from Server Administrative costs to websites and web applications, and not cash grants. Grant recipients are either fully subsidized or partially subsidized on their requirements.

The online Grant Application takes minutes and does not require the lengthy proposal usually associated with the grants. eProfessional Association will take care of the information gathering via a telephone interview. Grant applications are accepted throughout 2008 and awarded based upon their available funding. This is not a competitive grant.
