PR9.NET September 13, 2006 - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia -- A cancer survivor has started a new voluntary website service, with 30 Christian prayers, to help those hit by cancer and dreaded diseases pray. The soothing and healing prayers may be freely and immediately printed for use from the website, at no charge. Worldwide distribution of the prayers in a booklet "Helping the Sick to Pray" since 2003, benefited thousands who found them useful when in fear, afraid of death, confused, shocked, angry, worried, lost, anxious, seeking calm, peace of mind, God and healing. The writer, Mei Ling Sieh who survived colon cancer diagnosed five years ago, decided to design and launch the new website, based on her experiences, to cope with continuing requests from different countries. Being an active Christian, she believes that people hit by cancer and other diseases needs encouragement "to open their minds to new ideas, have receptive hearts for the supernatural touch from God and to accept Christ's love and salvation for ultimate healing and cure." This explains the scripture texts that go with each prayer. The new website promises more than spiritual help. There are web links to resources, such as bottom-of-the-page banners for medical information, music, CDs, books, devotionals, health supplements, vitamins, herbal products, special foodstuffs, headscarves and caps, gifts for loved ones, family and caregivers. Relationship building with God and with others is emphasized. Mindful of the need to lift depressed moods, visitors of the new website are warmly greeted with brightly colored tulips in the welcome pop-up. Every webpage includes photo shots and sceneries. Referral to friends, testimonials of users, contact and website feedback are provided for future improvements. The Lord's Prayer is found at the bottom of the Home page. Mei Ling is excited that even as the finer touches are added to the new website, well over 500 have visited and many repeatedly as well. She added that the handy prayer booklet designed for reading in bed is also available free upon request, only for postage. Her prayer now centers on widespread use of the prayers by those she wants to help, to relate to God. She assures all visitors of her continuous intercession for them.
