Begins the week of events for BrookHaven LifeCare Community in Brookville, Ohio as it celebrates 25 years in the Nursing Home business established in 1979. BrookHaven, THE LifeCare Community, was established as a private for-profit facility providing quality care to its residents for 25 years.
PR9.NET September 12, 2004 - It has become a premier health care facility as demonstrated by the survey process, longevity of staff, its rehabilitation program, and the dedication of a progressive Board of Directors. BrookHaven has grown from a 100 bed nursing facility to a Retirement Community on 116 acreas including, Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing Care, Home Health Care, Dementia Programs for both Assisted and Skilled Care,and a larger Wellness and Rehabilitation Center presently under construction.
The week of special events will include a Recognition luncheon for the BrookHaven employees with special recognition to those who have been employed at BrookHaven since its inception in 1979. Recognition luncheons for over 313 residents will be a part of the week long events as well. On Wednesday September 15, 2004 (2 pm), a TIME CAPSULE which was buried 25 years ago, will be unearthed. On Thursday, September 16, a VIP Reception will be held (4 pm) with speakers scheduled at 5:30 pm - program includes State Representative, Arlene Setzer, Mayor David Seagraves, and Board of Directors President of BrookHaven, Dale Baughman. Special recogntion will be given to the current board members who were there "since the beginning." Sunday, September 19th, concludes the week long celebration with an OPEN HOUSE and the public is invited to this special entertaining day (2-5 pm). Entertainment, food, tram rides, tours, door prizes will run throughout each facility on the BrookHaven campus.
