The Huskies Hail Ticketrends - UCONN Storrs Calls in Ticketrends for New Ticketing System
Ticketrends.com announces first review of their upcoming Ticketreports.org SuiteServices® with the University of Connecticut, Storrs Campus, home to the Champion Men's & Women's Huskies. PR9.NET August 26, 2004 - UCONN Storrs officials contacted Ticketrends as they were looking for a ticketing system for their new 500 seat multi-purpose theatre. "After several attempts of Web research and contacting potential service providers, UCONN became intensely frustrated with the lack of response and availability of credible data" says Brian Sikorski, Editor-In-Chief of Ticketrends.com. Together, UCONN and Ticketrends reviewed six potential candidates based on the needs of the organization. Each company and their services were reviewed against 10 baseline criteria. The questions are consistent to gain valuable information about the product, installation, after-sale service, references and overall "Total Cost of Ownership". "With the assistance of Ticketrends, UCONN has now narrowed the field to two highly capable candidate companies. Each of the candidates can get their systems up and running in as little as two weeks or less. With the fall semester starting soon, that is a real blessing" says UCONN's Jack Dansereau. UCONN will make its final selection in the next 10 days. UCONN will then be able to conduct General Admissions and Reserved Seating ticket sales with completely integrated Web sales, Telephone IVR and a self-service Kiosk outlet strategy. # # #
