On August 14, 2004 in the Bronx, Salem Coffee House celebrated their 10th annual Rap Fest. Rap Fest 2004 proved to be a history-making event with it being one of the first ever live radio/internet broadcasts of a Christian Hip Hop event ever.

In conjunction with WFDU 89.1FM we were able to broadcast from 4PM-9PM (EST). A total of 26 rap ministries hit the stage and rapped lyrics about Jesus Christ in the streets of the Bronx and the audio stream was heard worldwide.

Due to the overwhelming amount of calls to the radio station during the course of the broadcast, WFDU staff and management has decided to broadcast an Encore presentation of Rap Fest Radio Live.

The broadcast will be heard this Saturday, August 21, 2004 from 4PM-9PM EST with your host Floyd Cray of Gospel Vibrations 89.1FM WFDU.
