PR9.NET June 19, 2008 - WAKE FOREST, N.C. - TheClassicalStation.org announced today General Manager Deborah S. Proctor has been elected to the board of directors of the North Carolina Association of Broadcasters (NCAB). Proctor will serve as an affiliate director and will be responsible for representing the interests of non-commercial radio and TV members of the NCAB.

"Deborah is an extraordinarily knowledgeable and creative broadcaster, and the state's broadcast industry is looking forward to her good counsel on the trade association's board of directors," said Wade Hargrove, general counsel and executive director to NCAB. "We are excited that she is joining the board."

Proctor is a founder of WCPE 89.7 FM, TheClassicalStation.org. In the past 30 years, she has served as a representative for public radio interests with the U.S. Congress and the N.C.
