PR9.NET September 04, 2007 - WAKE FOREST, N.C. - General Manager Deborah S. Proctor of WCPE is proud to announce that Danville, Virginia is now part of the WCPE broadcast reach. Great Classical Music can now be heard 24/7 at 102.9 on the FM dial. The station launched its broadcast on August 30.

WCPE is a non-commercial, 100 percent listener-supported, independent station dedicated to excellence in Great Classical Music broadcasting.

"Great Classical Music is alive and well in this country," says Proctor. "WCPE has grown in reach and listenership steadily throughout its 28 year history."

With the new transmitter relay in Danville, classical music lovers can listen to WCPE at 102.9 FM anywhere within a 10-mile radius. Soon, Great Classical Music will be flowing out of radios in parks, backyards, at the pool and in the middle of traffic.

WCPE's publishes a quarterly program guide available on the Web at http://www.theclassicalstation.org/guide. It features informative articles, the latest news about classical artists and a complete program listing.
