Golden Age Productions of Panama launches new website for historical music films and recordings
Golden Age Productions has released its first two titles on its new website launched today. PR9.NET December 12, 2006 - Panama City, Panama - Golden Age Productions of Panama City, Panama has launched a new website: www.goldenageproductions.info to launch its documentary films, videos and music, on both CD's and DVD's. All genres will be represented. The first two titles being released this week are: IN THE MAINSTREAM: THE CLEVELAND QUARTET and CHOCHO Y SU SON: LA PAYOYA. IN THE MAINSTREAM: THE CLEVELAND QUARTET is an award winning documentary film, made in 1983 and is about the famous Cleveland Quartet which traveled the world concertizing and teaching, recording many discs for RCA, TelArc and other great labels, and as teachers at various schools and universities such as the Cleveland Institute of Music and the Eastman School of Music. CHOCHO Y SU SON: LA PAYOYA is a CD composed and recorded in Panama by Juan Luis Espinosa Aguilar, a very talented musician, journalist, and composer specialing in the fusion of Afro-Cuban and Panamanian sounds. This intermingling of influences results in a spectacular delight for the ear. Golden Age Productions is looking for good documentaries and cd's to distribute which are good representatives of musical artistry before 1990. # # #
