Hood Surgeon continues to make a name for himself in the Industry, using Internet radio as a resource.

PR9.NET September 15, 2006 - Los Angeles, CA – Hood Surgeon, son of the pioneer of rap Dr. Dre, is following his fathers footsteps but is defiantly standing on his own two feet. Hood Surgeon just signed a 52-week contract to have his own radio show, called "On Blasst". The show will be broadcasted via an Internet Radio network, XRadio.biz, and also give independent artists a chance to be heard.

This past month Hood Surgeon met with Executives of XRadio Media Corp. and agreed that a show would allow him the opportunity to market himself to the millions of on-line listeners, which exist on the already 2-year old network. In addition Hood Surgeon felt there was no better opportunity to offer his fellow independent artists, who seek out avenues of promotion thru websites like MySpace.com and many others. The show couldn't come at a better time for the young and talented artist who was recently featured on Vibe.com.

About Hood Surgeon

Curtis Young, AKA Hood Surgeon was born on December 15, 1981 in Paramount, California at Charter Suburban Hospital. Early in his life, he moved to Compton, Ca. During his High School years he studied poetry to better himself in his rap endeavors. His inspiration comes from east and west coast rappers such as Tupac Shakur, The Notorious BIG, Jay Z and his father Andre Young (Dr. Dre). Now being in the spot light Hood realized the responsibility that comes with the territory. He also realizes the expectations to keep the legacy created by his father alive and has continually worked towards his career dreams independently.
