- Code: BSHOP is in effect! GMeF has embarked upon a national promotional campaign to release Harli P&L's first single, NASTYLEJAH, from her album, "Conflict of Interest" to over three hundred urban barbershops across the United States of America between August 1st and August 31st of 2004! "GMeF is a small community dependent record label. Since we lack the resources of the larger labels, we've decided to utilize the barbershops in the major metropolises to sell through to our targeted audiences" Harli says.
PR9.NET August 25, 2004 - Each barbershop on the list will receive a letter of introduction, two posters of Harli P&L and four copies of "NASTYLEJAH" free! Dubbed the crucifix between hip hop and the world of rock, NASTYLEJAH is quickly becoming known for the stunning, detailed lyrics as well as the unparalleled guitar rips, which accompany them. "We have two versions of the song, one version under the influence of rock and one under the influence of the streets. Two versions were released to appeal to the fickle, yet broad hip hop/ rap/rock consumer."
Harli was heard for the first time during Funk Master Flex's show on Hot 97.1 with Buckshot Shorty on the single from his album, “BDI Thug” released in 2000. "I’ve definitely grown since then, lyrically as well as professionally." Harli says. "NASTYLEJAH gives people a chance to meet me lyrically, learn a little bit about my background, as well as prepare them for what's to come. I'm almost finished my album, "Conflict on Interest" that is when the real fun begins.
NASTYLEJAH will be officially released world-wide on August 20th. It can be pre-ordered now at CDBABY.com and will soon be available at AMAZON.COM and many other music retailers.
