Paul Jamiol releases the first in a series of children's books using animals and motorcycles.

PR9.NET March 15, 2010 - Cartoonist Paul Jamiol has taken on both bikers and animals…not in a rough 'n tumble grudge match in the ring at the local gym or in a down-on-the-docks bar, nor in a municipal zoo cage with only his bare hands and wits…The "face-off" involving those bikers and animals happens on his turf…the drawing board in his studio.

The 63-year-old artist has heard it all in the world of motorcycling. What he's heard most from folks outside that realm is the derogatory statement that "bikers are animals" and while he understands how some sensational news reports have fueled that belief, it has bothered him deeply on how it labels a whole group of people so negatively. So, armed with pen in hand and the desire to put motorcyclists in a positive light, Jamiol has created a very different book and aimed it at youngsters and their parents. The book is "Bikers are Animals - A Children's Book on Motorcycling" and the characters in this little epic are cartoon animal characters on motorcycles.

Jamiol introduces children and, more importantly, their parents, into a world that revolves around motorcycles, and promotes friendship, safe riding and working together. It stands apart from other children's books by using the motorcycles and those that ride them to entertain and educate its young readers.

Jamiol's book was published by Dog Ear Publishing Indianapolis, IN. For more information go to Jamiol's website at www.bikersareanimals.com

This is the first in a series of children's books using motorcycles and animals. Jamiol's second book, Bikers are Animals 2 - The Rest of the Crew, will be out the later part of 2010.

Jamiol will be touring this summer and fall to promote his Bikers are Animals series of children's books. He recently appeared February 13-14 at the New England Motorcycle Expo in Boston and also has appearances scheduled at Old Orchard Beach, ME and Laconia, NH.
