Johnna Gottlieb's lecture "Beyond the Reel", co-hosted by Joan Baker, reinforces the notion that becoming a professional voice actor is not a walk in the park so much as a real commitment that takes labors of love as well as financial investment and with associated startup costs. Listeners will find out what they need to do before pursuing agency representation and learn just how important it is to treat a voice acting career like a real business.

As a contributor to the VoiceOver Experts faculty, Johnna Gottlieb will be lecturing on an ongoing basis to aspiring voice actors and professional voice actors via podcast on how to understand, hone and grow in their craft. Since the lectures are available in the form of podcasts, the lessons are hosted online and can be heard at any time of day at the convenience of the listener.
