A viral website tracks what internet users find most interesting about photos. Users simply click any of hundreds of photos (most supplied by other users) and vote for their favorite or most interesting part.

PR9.NET June 20, 2007 - Buffalo, NY - FavoritePart.com asks the internet to click on the part of the photo that they find most interesting. After voting, or by simply clicking the "Where they Clicked" link you are shown a heat map of where everybody has clicked. This is a very simple premise with highly addicting results.

The main page of Favorite Part starts by showing the newest, most viewed today and most clicked photos. Currently "Antonella Barba", the scandalous one from American Idol, ranks the highest with over 30,000 clicks and 200,000+ views. Keep in mind in the half-second that you vote or view the clicks, all 30,000 clicks are dynamically color coded and added to the photo. Your click/vote matters to Favorite Part and is added in real time.

From the main page you can choose one 5 categories. "Celebrities", Comics (Cartoons)", "Real People", "Sports" or "Other". You can then navigate the category a page at a time by clicking on the "Older" and "Newer". At any time you can also click on the "Image Index" link to see a complete listing of all photos on the site.

Any and all photos can be commented on. While favorite part does request that you "keep it clean" a lot of people have problems doing so. If you want to leave more in depth comments you can do so at their favorite forum which is open for everybody.

Also, if you have your own interesting photo you may use their "Upload Pics" link to send any and all. However it may be a while favorite part takes about a day to approve a photo. The reason is understandable. There is very little accountability to a viewer and everything is anonymous so they don't want you posting things that are more mature than the average PG-13 audience.

All in all, the site is quite fun but we found ourselves having to click on "Click here to Remove Ad" a bit more than we like.

Creator "Jason Geiger" of Buffalo, NY was quoted saying "Finally we have a place where can have satire and information shared about photos". With 2 Million views and 250,000 votes, the internet seems to agree with him.

If you find sites like "Hot or Not" or My Space fun you should like FavoritePart.com equally.
