Capsa 6.7, a Windows packet and protocol analyzer that makes it easy to locate and troubleshoot network problems was newly released by Colasoft. More than 300 protocols are now supported.

The latest version adds 12 new network-layer protocols and 98 new application-layer protocols, for a total of more than 300 protocols. Moreover, 6 new protocols including GGP, ISMP, IGRP, EIGRP, CDP, and CGMP can now be decoded.

Capsa performs real-time packet capturing, 24/7 network monitoring, advanced protocol analyzing, in-depth packet decoding, and automatic expert diagnosing. By giving you insights into all of your network's operations, Capsa makes it easy to isolate and solve network problems, identify network bottleneck and bandwidth use, and detect network vulnerabilities, external attacks and insecure applications.

Network administrators can directly monitor http requests, email messages, DNS queries, as well as real-time activities and message details for the four most popular instant messengers: MSN, AIM, ICQ, and Yahoo Messenger.
