PR9.NET February 28, 2007 - Bellevue, WA - Pharmacy OneSource, Inc., application service provider to more than 1,000 hospitals in the United States, announced today that King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) in Amman, Jordan has adopted Amplifi to manage their formularies and communicate medication information throughout the hospital and Quantifi to establish benchmarks and trending of clinical and quality pharmacy activities.

"I am very excited about introducing Amplifi and Quantifi into our pharmacy practice in Jordan," said Mohammed Jabr, PharmD, MS, MBA, Head of Center for Drug Policy and Evaluation at KHCC. "KHCC's administration - represented by the Director General Mahmoud Sarhan, MD and Pharmacy Chairman Imad Treish, PharmD, BCOP - is very keen on advancing clinical and pharmacy services as well as medication use systems as an integral aspect of the center's entire operational plan and mission statement. I am looking forward to utilizing the data from Quantifi to identify and monitor trends in order to enhance the safety and efficacy of the care we provide our patients at KHCC."

With more than 650 hospitals across the world using Quantifi, and millions of clinical interventions documented, Pharmacy OneSource understands the need to increase the credibility of pharmacy numbers in the eyes of the hospital administrators.

"We're delighted to gain the forward-thinking King Hussein Cancer Center as a customer," said Keith Streckenbach, Executive Vice President of Pharmacy OneSource. "High performance pharmacy knows no physical boundaries and our growing international customer base is proving this daily."

Quantifi allows KHCC pharmacists to document their clinical interventions, adverse events and adverse drug reactions quickly over the internet or on a handheld computer through a series of menus, drop-lists, and input screens, collecting crucial event data easily. In addition, Quantifi users have access to a wide array of clinical information, such as hospital-specific antibiograms and therapeutic interchanges, and also have the ability to follow-up on their reports or the reports done by their peers.

Amplifi is a flexible, robust formulary management and pharmacy communications application with integrated drug information. It provides pharmacists with the most versatile, easy-to-use tool to manage, update, and communicate formularies in print, on the web, and on handhelds.
