PR9.NET November 22, 2005 - Portland, OR, USA – ProgeSOFT.US (www.progesoft.us), in cooperation with ProgeSOFT sas, Como, Italy, is coordinating the donation of ProgeCAD 2006 Professional CAD software applications for the rebuilding of hurricane stricken areas in the United States.

Hurricane Katrina has caused some 25 billion dollars in damage, and Wilma, over 10 billion dollars, and these estimates are sure to rise. The widespread destruction in the affected areas has caused a need for CAD design software to help rebuild the infrastructure.

ProgeCAD 2006 Professional, the latest IntelliCAD software from ProgeSOFT, includes a library manager for discipline specific symbols, ACIS solid modeling, raster image support, rendering, and a unique set of tools that only ProgeSOFT offers. ProgeCAD software supports the DWG design file format, from version 2.6 through 2006, plus support for AutoCAD® menus, scripts, blocks, and AutoLISP®.
