Coventor and MANCEF to Offer Four MEMS Design Scholarships at COMS2009

Coventor and MANCEF are pleased to announce a chance for students to win one of four 1-year licenses of Coventor's CoventorWare Designer/ Analyzer package.

PR9.NET May 19, 2009 - Albuquerque, NM - MEMS software provider, Coventor Inc., along with the Micro and Nanotechnology Commercialization Education Foundation (MANCEF), will award four 1 year licenses of Coventor's CoventorWare Designer/ Analyzer package to students during the COMS2009 conference. The scholarships are granted based on proposals submitted by students working in micro systems research around the world.

To qualify for a scholarship, you must be a full-time student at a college, university, or vocational-technical institute and have a desire to research and develop novel micro system technology structures or processes.

Winners are selected based on the quality of the proposal and must comply with Coventor's high-quality standards in the use of its products. The scholarships will be awarded at the COMS2009 award ceremony in Copenhagen, Denmark.

MANCEF and Coventor panelists will choose the scholarship winners based on research proposal papers submitted in the following four categories:
- Bio MEMS
- Sensors/Actuators
- Other Novel Designs.

Proposal Format
Proposals must be one to two pages long and include:
1. Introduction that provides a short summary of intended applications:
o 1 paragraph
2. Short statement of qualifications:
o 1 paragraph
o School
o Professor
o Contact info
3. Full proposal:
o 1–2 pages
o With an eye on best paper awards

All proposals must be received by July 30, 2009.
