RFID enabled key authentication enhances security and operational processes at luxury vehicle dealership.
PR9.NET April 18, 2008 - Las Vegas, Nevada - A Montreal based RFID system integrator, Ship2Save, has announced its RFID cabinet key solution, with Impinj's UHF Gen 2 RFID chips, readers, and antennas, is part of an AVS Key and Inventory Solutions Inc. offering. The system prevents the theft of cars at a luxury vehicle dealership by warning the dealership that a possible theft is likely to occur. Leveraging the RFID data from the key authentication process, Ship2Save's Operation Management System (OMS) and Microsoft's BizTalk Server RFID facilitate and enhance the dealership's asset management systems.
The system in place provides a way to authenticate car keys upon their return from a test drive.The solution is based on BizTalk Server 2006 R2, which delivers capabilities that extend core process management technologies to connect real-time business processes and leverage intelligent RFID data
