LXE's HX2 is designed to be worn on the arm or waist, keeping both hands free for picking and other warehouse duties. It features an impact-resistant screen made from the same materials found in fighter-jet cockpit windows as well as a magnesium alloy front to ensure survival in rugged environments. The ring scanners are also built as tough as the main computer.

Other HX2 features include: a crisp sunlight-readable display that allows easy viewing in any lighting condition; large, backlit keys that are fully mappable and customizable for specific applications; an Eyes-Free Keyboard with variably-sized keys for no-look navigation; multiple data-capture options with laser ring scanner or 2D imager ring; and an innovative arm band that avoids slippage by comfortably securing the HX2 where you want it. The product comes loaded with the latest Windows® CE 5.0 Professional OS, and an 802.11 b/g radio with Bluetooth option.
