A new Web site dedicated to reviewing free competitions has this week been launched by the creators of FreebieList.com, a popular UK 'free stuff' portal.

PR9.NET April 27, 2008 - Lancaster, UK – A new Web site dedicated to reviewing free competitions has this week been launched by the creators of FreebieList.com, a popular UK 'free stuff' portal.

Competitions List, which will run in tandem with FreebieList.com, has been launched amid the growing popularity of online competitions in the UK, and provides users with a user-friendly round-up of the best online prize draws.

Competitions have been available on the Web for many years but have seen resurgence as of late. The increase in Internet usage throughout the UK, and the now widespread use of broadband, has allowed competition operators to design creative and interactive sites, thereby attracting a new generation of 'compers'.

Moreover, many companies are turning to the Web to promote their brands, and competitions provide a vehicle to realise this whilst offering users an incentive to participate in prize draws.
