Colorado artist, Jane Jones, wisely employs both underpainting and glazing techniques to create "colors that glow with an inner radiance." "As artists", Jones maintains, "we are so quickly attracted and entertained by color." "It's the focus of our lives!"

In a workshop being held March 20 through 24, 2006, noted artist, Jane Jones, will show the inexperienced and professional artist how she achieves that beautiful glow of realistic qualities in her oil-based still life paintings.

This workshop will take place at the ultra spacious Red Raven Studio, located in the historic town of Pueblo, Colorado. The capacious areas of Red Raven affords the student ample working space to spread out and paint freely. Pueblo features exquisite architecture, peaceful settings and a friendly atmosphere.
