PR9.NET July 11, 2005 - In response to the requests of many parents who would like their children to learn a the fundamentals of reading and math in a fun, technology-based manner, Computer Kiddies developed a hybrid tutoring program designed to teach students each skill. Delivered in one hour segments, students work with a tutor to alternate between learning sight words, practicing letter recognition, phonics, counting by ones, fives and tens, watching computer based flashcards, completing handwriting exercises, and many other fundaments of education.
Tutoring sessions are offered in the Computer Kiddies computer center at 83 Bridge Plaza Drive, Manalapan, NJ. The center offers services to area residents including the children of Monroe, Marlboro, Freehold, Englishtown, Morganville, Old Bridge, Howell, Colts Neck, Matawan, Aberdeen and many other area towns.
The Computer Kiddies tutoring process of varying the educational content and delivery, switching learning techniques between repetition, games, problem solving activities, and computer simulations, helps keep the students engaged in the activities they are completing. This in turn naturally enhances the learning process and effectiveness of the training which is being delivered.
