Mortgage Technology magazine honors Avista for its outstanding loan origination system

PR9.NET September 09, 2010 - Columbia, SC - For the fourth year in a row, Mortgage Technology magazine has named mortgage software company Avista Solutions to a select group of mortgage technology providers in its annual feature story, "Top 50 Service Providers," which appeared in its July 2010 issue. Avista Solutions, a producer of a seamless, web-based, end-to-end loan origination system for mortgage lenders, first landed a spot on the list in 2007 and has maintained its status ever since.

"Avista Solutions has proved itself once again as consistent leader in the mortgage technology industry," Avista Solutions CEO Mark Phlieger said. "As we near our tenth anniversary, Avista continues to produce innovative technology that gives lenders the tools they need to be successful in the mortgage business. Earning a spot on Mortgage Technology's Top 50 Provider List for the fourth year in a row solidifies our role as a leader in the industry."

Mortgage Technology selects winners based on four primary factors: customer satisfaction, functionality, market share and viable revenue model. The magazine chose Avista Solutions for its "fully web-based LOS that provides lenders toolsets for retail, wholesale, correspondent, and consumer direct lending," according to the article.

This year, the magazine's choices were highly based on long-term success – according to the article, the companies named to its 2010 list have exhibited true staying power. "Most of the companies that made it on the list are mainstays with a lot of mortgage experience," the article states, adding that "...more and more lenders are looking for companies with longevity in the mortgage space."
