New Organization to Foster SharePoint Interoperability
A group of Microsoft parters start to develop a software architecture standard for SharePoint solutions.
PR9.NET October 21, 2009 - Several leading Microsoft partners together with Neoxen announced the creation of SISA™ group at the Microsoft SharePoint Conference, Las Vegas, October 18, 2009.
The SISA™ group, or SharePoint Interoperability Solution Architecture standards group, will create and promote a standard software architecture in order to optimize SharePoint solutions interoperability to strengthen the SharePoint ecosystem.
The purpose of the SISA™ standard is to simplify the integration and increase the interoperability of SharePoint Products. Products that are designated as being SISA™ compliant will have the ability to exchange information, processes, and tasks between two or more different SharePoint systems or components on a standard platform.
Neoxen Systems announces the first new solutions based on the SISA™ standard simultaneously with the coming Microsoft SharePoint 2010 release.
Neoxen Systems is the first European software company in the group. The founding members of the group are Danny Boulanger - Alcero, Susan Yee - Active Data Exchange, Larry D. Hunt - Integrated Digital Systems/ScanAmerica Inc., Tony Lanni - Avepoint, Esa Tervo - Neoxen Systems, and Mike Fitzmaurice – Nintex.
