The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition that recognizes professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of traditional and emerging media. The 2008 Hermes Creative Awards were given to the top performers among 4,000 entries as judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), an international organization consisting of several thousand media professionals. Entries came from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, public relations firms, design shops, production companies, and freelancers.
