Successful Certification of Trides at "Verified by Visa" program is a step forward in implementation of Logos' authentication solutions in e-commerce/e-banking

PR9.NET March 12, 2007 - Zagreb, Croatia - Logos, the leading Croatian company in the field of tokens, PKI and smart cards based authentication solutions for remote banking services, today announced that its 3D Secure ACS Server Trides has been successfully certified by "Verified by Visa" program.

"Verified by Visa" is a service that Visa has launched to encourage on-line payments. It is based on 3D Secure technology, which increases the level of protection for all participants in Internet transactions. The card issuing bank authenticates cardholder during sale process and confirms its legitimacy.

By integrating different modules and services based on 3D Secure standard, Logos Trides offers issuers and merchants secure and unique platform which authenticates cardholder identity in real time and reduces card fraud in e-commerce/e-banking. Platform enables payments with debit and credit cards, offers support for different languages and, besides compatibility with "Verified by Visa" program, it is compatible with "MasterCard SecureCode" program as well.

Depending on user profile, Logos Trides offers support for one or more authentication methods: static passwords, authentication tokens, CAP/DPA authentication, certificates and digital signature. In the environment where cardholder uses EMV chip card for payment transaction, logical choice is the use of the same card for CAP/DPA authentication.
