Active+ Software adds native 64-bit support to its range of system utilities
Active+ Software, publisher of network administration utilities and emailing workshops, releases native 64-bit versions for all its system utilities: ServiceMill to run application as Windows Services, ServiceKeeper to monitor and recover Windows Services and Service+ to administrate Windows Services.
PR9.NET February 01, 2006 - VINÇA, France – Pioneer in the support of Windows 64-bit technologies, Active+ Software was one of the first to make its full range of system utilities available for Intel Itanium platforms in 2002. "These new versions are a testimony to our continuous commitment to current and future technologies as we continue to meet the changing needs of our customers" said Daniel Doguet, President, Active+ Software.
While most utilities are not compiled in a native 64-bit environment, ServiceMill, ServiceKeeper and Service+ are running natively on AMD x64, Intel x64 and Intel Itanium platforms. Thus, they do not need anymore to run on a Virtual Machine allowing the users to take advantage of the full memory address space of new 64-bit processors and to have a full access to the broad range of utilities' functionalities. Therefore, these latest releases provide more efficiency and more capacity to create, administrate and monitor Windows Services.

About Active+ Software
Active+ Software has been created in Boston in 1997 and is established in southern France since 1998. Daniel Doguet who created, as a Senior Software Engineer, successful commercial products for various companies, gathered a team of young engineers to start Active+ Software in '97. The rapid growth of the Windows NT platform as an emerging standard provided the opportunity for developing OS enhancing utilities that would provide companies with the robustness required for their server applications. Relocated in Southern France in the 11th century village of Vinça, Active+ Software has become a recognized Windows NT specialist, supplying major international customers with its software utilities. Moreover, the team has since then added new products like eMill, a complete and flexible emailing workshop.
