India's biggest components show Componex Nepcon India 2008 is slated to run during February 20-22, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The growing components industry will get tremendous boost including one for the automobile components sector that gets a platform to display the latest innovations at Componex Nepcon India 2008.

This year's exhibition will focus on a completely new and useful technology Surface Mount Technology. SMT Is a method for constructing electronic circuits in which the components (SMC or Surface Mounted Components) are mounted directly onto the surface of printed circuit boards (PCBs). In the industry it has largely replaced the through-hole technology construction method of fitting components with wire leads into holes in the circuit board. A host of new products will be launched during the event by both national and international exhibitors.

In the past couple of years the electronic industry is growing at a brisk pace. It is currently worth $10 Billion but according to estimates, has the potential to reach $ 40 billion by 2010.
