Portland's Largest Sustainable Lifestyle Show Launches in March 2008
The Better Living Show represents an opportunity for sustainably-minded companies to present their products, services, and messages to the community, while giving attendees access to local resources to help them make healthier and more balanced choices. PR9.NET July 19, 2007 - Portland, Or – The greenest city in the country now has the greenest event. Launching March 28-30, 2008 at the Portland Expo Center, the Better Living Show represents an unprecedented opportunity for sustainably-minded companies and organizations to gather and present their products, services, and messages to the community. Produced by Blue Ocean Events, Inc, the Better Living Show gives attendees access to local resources to help them make healthier and more balanced choices in seven core areas: lifestyle, green home and garden products, local and organic food/beverage, eco adventure, conservation, recycling, transportation, and clean tech. Designed and presented with a unique layout and lighting, the show is more than a venue to shop and learn. Each day is packed with entertainment, social activities, flavors to delight the palette and sights to amaze the eyes. "When developing the event, we wrestled with the traditional business model of a consumer show; namely charging admission to attend," said Michael O'Loughlin. "We felt so strongly that the information should be easily accessible to everyone that we decided to make the event free to the public." People wishing to learn more about the show should visit www.betterlivingshow.org and frequently check back for show updates. # # #
