Ronco (www.ronco.ca) is proud to announce that it is now a member of the Malaysian Rubber Glove Manufacturers' Association (MARGMA), which represents Malaysian rubber/latex glove manufacturers and industry-related companies both locally and overseas.
PR9.NET August 30, 2006 - Toronto, Ontario – Ronco (www.ronco.ca) is proud to announce that it has become a member of the Malaysian Rubber Glove Manufacturers' Association (MARGMA), the trade association representing rubber/latex glove manufacturers in Malaysia as well as supporting companies for the industry located both locally and overseas. The demand for latex has risen substantially worldwide over the past decades, and MARGMA estimates that while 12 billion latex disposable gloves were required in 1989, the demand increased to approximately 100 billion pieces in 2005. Demand in the United States alone was estimated to be 38 billion pieces. At the same time, production capacity has also risen at a significant rate. In 1988, one line could produce approximately 2500 pieces per hour; in 2005, the production capability had increased to 30 000 pieces per hour.
Ronco is proud to be part of an organization working towards providing members and companies in the industry with the necessary support and information to continue being able to supply customers with a quality natural rubber latex product.
Being part of this organization will allow Ronco to stay informed on the latest industry-related information, enabling us to make more informed purchasing decisions, which, in turn, should result in higher value for our customers.
