Until now, the choice of 2WD or four-wheel-drive (4WD) has been exclusive to the LX trim level, and the expansion of 2WD into the more upscale and full-featured EX trim level provides an added dimension of value and fuel economy. The CR-V EX 2WD provides the same level of premium features as the CR-V EX 4WD including alloy wheels, moonroof, a 6-speaker audio system with 6-disc changer, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, outside temperature gauge and privacy glass. A 5-speed automatic transmission is standard on the CR-V EX 2WD which achieves a city/highway EPA fuel economy rating of 23/29 (up from 22/27 on 4WD models with an automatic transmission).
