SatelliteGuys.US to webcast Satellite Pioneers event live from Atlanta
SatelliteGuys.US aims to bring Internet Users to Atlanta to help pay tribute to the Pioneers of Satellite with a live webcast from the 2007 Satellite and Broadband Expo in Atlanta, GA. PR9.NET March 18, 2007 - Newington, Connecticut – In what is considered by many to be a once in a lifetime event, SatelliteGuys.US is proud to announce that they will webcast the awards ceremony live from the Chapparal Satellite Pioneers Dinner at the 2007 Satellite and Broadband Expo in Atlanta, Georgia. Internet users from around the world who are unable to attend the event in person will be able to tune in to the live webcast, which will take place on Friday Night, April 20th starting at 7PM Eastern Time. Users will be able to access this free webcast from http://www.satelliteguys.us. This special webcast will use the latest in webcasting technology, and users will be able to view the show using any web browser on almost any platform. In addition live tech support will be available for the webcast in the off chance that a user has an issue. SatelliteGuys President Scott Greczkowski commented on the technology, "We worked hard and spared no expense to give our members and satellite industry lovers from around the world the best experience possible, so that they could join us in saluting the true pioneers of Satellite Television." The Chapparal Pioneers Dinner is scheduled to honor some of the true pioneers of Satellite Television including Sir. Arthur C. Clarke, Buddy Davis, Taylor Howard, Bob Taggart, Billy Tauzin, Charlie Ergen, among others which were selected members of the satellite community. "We are honored that we can be a part of this historic night and help pay tribute to the true pioneers of satellite", said Greczkowski. The Chapparal Pioneers Dinner is just one event of many being held at the 2007 Satellite and Broadband Expo which is taking place April 18 – 21 in Atlanta, Georgia.
