Viviane Reding, the EU Commissioner for Information Society and Media is just one of more than 20 high level speakers who have confirmed their participation at the European Spectrum Management Conference, which is being held in Brussels on 29th & 30th March.
PR9.NET February 07, 2006 - Brussels, Belgium - Preparations are well underway for the European Spectrum Management Conference, which is going to be held at Le Chatelain All Suite Hotel, Brussels, on 29th & 30th March, with Viviane Reding (EU Commissioner for Information Society and Media) the latest speaker to confirm her participation at the event.
The conference offers stakeholders the opportunity to take the debate surrounding the future of spectrum management in Europe to the next, crucial level. It will seek to move on from early discussions surrounding market-based approaches and the processes involved in getting liberalisation off the ground, to really addressing the detailed issues that need to be settled before the implementation of a new system can become a reality.
As well as Ms Reding, other confirmed speakers at the event include Prof Martin Cave (University of Warwick), Steffen Ring (Motorola), Graham Louth (Ofcom), and Francois Rancy (ANFR). The event is being heavily supported by a number of high-level organisations and bodies, including CANTOR Spectrum and Tower Exchange, Analysys, The Association for International Broadcasting and the The Federation of Communication Services.
