One Step Retail Solutions ranks No. 75 in the new Inc. 5,000 Top 100 by Metro Region in AZ and No. 2832 in America.

PR9.NET September 10, 2007 - Los Angeles, CA – One Step Retail Solutions ranks high in the first-ever Inc. 5,000 fastest growing private companies in entrepreneurial America.

The Inc. 5,000 includes the Inc. 500 but now provides an all-inclusive list of companies that are driving the U.S. economy. The Inc. 5,000 project unleashed more than 70 researchers, reporters, editors and interns to identify and profile the 5,000 fastest growing companies in America. From that list, there are other lists ranking the top companies by industry, in each major metropolitan area, and by dollar amount.

One Step Retail Solutions, a service and technology solutions provider for the retail industry, came on the radar of the new Inc. 5,000 and showed up in the rankings as No. 2832 on the list. The company came up No. 75 in the Top 100 by Metro Region for Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale, AZ.

According to Inc., "the companies listed are the elite—the mere silver of the seven million or so companies in the U.S. that have employees."

The methodology behind the 2007 Inc. 5,000 list ranks companies according to percentage of revenue growth from 2003 through 2006. "To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of 2003, and therefore able to show four full calendar years of sales. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies. Revenue in 2003 must have been at least $200,000, and revenue in 2006 must have been at least $2 million," as distinguished by Inc.

In the Inc. profile, one of the noteworthy facets that facilitated One Step Retail Solutions rapid growth was the use of L. Ron Hubbard's business model to increase productivity. Using the Hubbard Management System offered by the Hubbard College of Administration, one of the things One Step implemented was giving its best performing employees seniority, regardless how long they have been with the company.

At a growth rate of 117.9%, One Step Retail Solutions shows an impressive expansion from $3.7 million in 2003 to $8 million in 2006. With 55 employees and offices in Phoenix, Los Angeles and New York, One Step demonstrates that it does more than meets the demand for automation with turnkey solutions for hardware, software and professional retail services; it rewards its employees by driving them to be the best they can be.
