Helms Mulliss & Wicker, PLLC (HMW) was named one of the best corporate law firms in the July/August 2007 issue of Corporate Board Member magazine's metro area rankings
PR9.NET June 28, 2007 - CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Helms Mulliss & Wicker, PLLC (HMW) was named one of the best corporate law firms in the July/August 2007 issue of Corporate Board Member magazine's metro area rankings. HMW is one of five top firms, as chosen by board directors and general counsel of publicly-traded companies.
The magazine's annual study identifies the top 20 national corporate law firms and the top five corporate law firms in 25 major metropolitan areas, according to directors serving on boards of companies listed with NASDAQ, the New York Stock Exchange, or the American Stock Exchange.
To be included for consideration, each firm had to practice business, corporate or commercial law and had to be one of the 20 largest firms in its area by number of attorneys. Out of this list, directors, executives and general counsel were asked to choose the five area law firms they would most likely select to aid their companies on a broad range of corporate legal issues.
HMW was also included in the magazine's best corporate law firm list for 2006.
