No OCR software is 100% accurate. The accuracy of conversion depends on the quality of the original. Optical Character Recognition is an automated process performed by computer programs and generally used to convert good quality laser-printed pages. Accuracy on poor quality photocopies, dirty or hand-annotated documents will be lower.

OCR correction is very labor intensive and re-keying of poor quality documents provides a high level of accuracy not provided in OCR applications. In some cases, we combine OCR scanning and manual retyping as required to produce an accurate conversion of your document to an editable format.

OCR on spreadsheets tends to produce a high rate of errors in the OCR conversion compared to text documents. Starting at 1 cent per cell, we manually type in your data to accurate spreadsheet format
