The custom IDX solution helps speed up the real estate search, saving both realtors and consumers time.
PR9.NET July 23, 2008 - EUGENE, ORE. – Using customized software from IDX, Inc., Pat Schleeter and Tim Arntzen, of Independent Brokers Realty, have customized the search function of their website to provide potential home buyers with an easier and more personalized search process. The Internet Data Exchange (IDX) software extracts information from the Northstar MLS for use by consumers visiting the site and integrates it into the North Metro site.
MLS listings are automatically updated daily so there is no need to spend time inputting or editing listings to reflect the most recent changes. In addition, an administrative control panel allows the real estate agents to see statistics on the MLS along with the number of daily page views and site traffic reports. Global, page, and category wrappers controlled through the dashboard allow Schleeter and Arntzen to maintain their individual agency branding throughout their site so that even when clients are searching the MLS it appears as though it is a part of the North Metro site.
The features of IDX Broker are completely customizable and on the North Metro site include search tools for the client such as Email alerts based on previous search criteria, an advanced search where the client can specify anything from school district to heating, and a map search powered by Google maps pinpointing different properties for sale and their relativity to roads, landmarks, and other cities. All of these features are designed to help simplify the process for both clients and agents.
