Art Center College at Night offers new workshop - Art Directing a Professional Photo Shoot
A hands-on workshop for creative professionals seeking inspiration and new practical skills. Offered for the first time October 9 and 10, 2010. PR9.NET September 23, 2010 - Pasadena, CA - Art Center at Night, the continuing studies program at Art Center College of Design, has designed an exciting new course this fall and chosen two well-respected advertising professionals to share their insider's knowledge and expertise - Lori Berson, owner, BersonDeanStevens, Inc. and Dana Hursey, owner, Dana Hursey Photography. Never before offered, this workshop will teach students how to schedule, prepare and conduct a successful photo shoot. "Art and design professionals seeking practical skills are fortunate to have an opportunity to learn from such talented and experienced instructors," said Dana L. Students will develop concepts, gain experience with pre-production, art direct a photo shoot and oversee post production. Class discussions and demonstrations will cover different styles and techniques used in creating photographic images, and how to work with clients and photographers to attain desired images. Topics include: budgets, timelines, workflow, locations, logistics, composition, lighting, styling, props, talent/models, agents, reps, and professional practices.
