Russell Bedford International appoints new member firm in Tokyo, Japan.

PR9.NET October 11, 2005 - Azabu International, a Tokyo-based CPA firm specialising in supporting foreign companies doing business in Japan, has joined the worldwide Russell Bedford accounting and tax consulting group.

Azabu International provides accounting, tax, audit and business advisory services – concentrating on serving foreign companies and individuals doing business and/or working in Japan. Many of its clients are subsidiaries or branches of overseas-based multi-national companies, and services are provided in both Japanese and English.

The firm's client base covers a broad spectrum of business sectors including banks and other financial institutions, transportation, construction, entertainment, import/distribution, software and internet-related services, manufacturing, restaurants, non-profit organisations, and wholesale/retail.

The firm was established in 1997 by Katsuo Hosoyama, a certified public accountant and public tax accountant with extensive experience in the international taxation and audit divisions of two of the big global accounting firms.

The two other partners are: Asahiko Alex Mondori, an audit and internal control specialist with an MBA from the George Washington University, USA; and Akira Matsuura, a CPA specialising in the areas of audit, mergers and acquisitions and Japanese taxation.

A subsidiary company, Ryukando Consulting Inc., offers internet related services.
