Past performance and growth have enabled MPI to acquire spearheads in the Batlic region. During Q305-Q205, MPI will strenghten its position in home markets. Investments to new business ventures continue strongly throughout year.

PR9.NET June 14, 2005 - Strong first half of 2005 has enabled M Ponka Industries (MPI) to upgrade its estimates for the whole year. The interrim report is also accompanied with new strategic outlines for period 2005-2009.

Through investments in small and emergent business partners in Batlic region, MPI will be able to extend its operations globally. We plan to have significiant market share by 2007. This will be achieved by mergers and acquisitions and natural growth. Our current value added providers in the region will through our planned deals have even better business opportunities in their respective industries.

Strong growth in home markets will continue, while we expect some sectors to show below average performance. Our core business enjoys strong confidence from our shareholders and we will maintain our current position in the marketplace. Especially in CFI business, we are approaching saturation, but expect above average perfromance during Q3. To stabilise our current business portfolio we plan to venture to new markets also inside our core operations. IRL financing operations introduced in Q404 have been profitable and we plan to publish annual analysis of our performance vs the market in coming months. DM business sector has stagnated throughout year, but we expect it to recover by end of the year.

Our current assets and fully owned subsidiaries allow us to continue pursue new markets in Finland and Estonia. We expect some resistance due to pending EU-legislation. Ongoing reviews might yield some unwanted results, but the board is confident that in general terms, legislation will not hinder our current strategic objectives. Historically, CFI sector has always performed well in the third quarter.

We expect strong perfromance for Q3-Q4 for both CFI and IRL businesses.
